    All About Ms. Thompson



    My name is Lindsey Thompson.  I grew up in Little Silver and even went to Point Road School!  I am so happy to be part of the PRS family and teaching second grade.  I have five people in my family:  my mom, my dad, my older sister, Elizabeth, my younger brother, John and me.  My family and I are very close and love to spend time together!
     
    I love school!  I went to Douglass College, Rutgers University where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.  I then went to Kean University for graduate school.  I am a certified teacher of Preschool through fifth grade and have my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl.  It is the most rewarding job in the world, and it is a dream come true to be teaching second grade! 

    In my free time I love to read, travel to new places, take pictures, play sports, go to the beach, and spend time with my family and friends.  My favorite sport is baseball; I love playing and going to games!  I am a big METS fan, Rangers fan, and I love the GIANTS too!
