Kate Galbavy

Kate Galbavy has been a Little Silver resident since 2003 and is currently serving her first term on the Board of Education.  She and her husband, Mike, are proud to be sending their boys to the schools that Mike attended. Mrs. Galbavy has volunteered in our schools since her oldest son was in Kindergarten, and served as a PTO executive board member and president.  She has helped to organize many events such as the LS5K, Bag Brigade, and Point Road Art shows.  

Mrs. Galbavy graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's degree in Finance. She worked for Citigroup Global Markets in Manhattan, as a Vice President and Crisis Management Officer. After many years of volunteering for the town, schools, and church, Mrs. Galbavy went back to school to pursue an accelerated Bachelors degree in Nursing with New Jersey City University.
