Maria Wood

It is an honor to serve as a member of the Little Silver Board of Education. The main reason our family moved to Little Silver in 2009 was its excellent school system.  Education and community service are passions of mine, and as a result I have been involved in many aspects of the education system.  I have been a public school teacher, a teacher trainer, a leader of the Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) for Little Silver, an involved-member of the Education Foundation of Little Silver (EFLS), and have volunteered for the Little Silver PTO . In addition, I am a mother of three children who attend our school system.  Raising our family in Little Silver has been a blessing, and I am committed to fostering the continued success of our schools through my role as a member of the Little Silver Board of Education.
