Markham Place music teacher, Mrs. Stephanie Bennett, and Point Road music teacher, Mr. Jason Lakshmanan will be offering four, 30, or 45-minute small group lessons, for students entering 4th-8th grade interested in beginning or continuing their studies in music. There is no cost for this program.
Lessons will include:
• Instruction on developing technique and fundamentals
• Tone production
• Music literacy
• Small ensemble performance skills
If your child is brand new to playing an instrument, please contact Mrs. Bennett at sbennett@littlesilverschools.org for information on instrument rental. (Fourth-grade band and orchestra lessons at Point Road School will begin in September. The beginner sessions listed below are for any students who are beginners are entering or already attending Markham Place School.)
