Steve Kotok

Steve Kotok has been a resident of Little Silver since 2017 and is in his first term on the Board of Education. He and his wife have a son attending Point Road Elementary and a daughter attending Markham Place Middle School. He is currently an Associate Professor in Administrative and Instructional Leadership at St. John’s University. Prior to becoming a professor,  Steve was a social studies teacher in Philadelphia and Asbury Park. He has volunteered as a football, soccer, and basketball coach as part of LS Rec and has served in various roles in national professional organizations. Steve received his BA in History and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Ph.D. in Educational Theory and Policy from Pennsylvania State University.
